About Us
District Overview
Located in McHenry and Kane counties of northern Illinois, Huntley Community School District 158 serves approximately 8,280 students in pre-kindergarten through age 22, residing in Huntley, western portions of Lake in the Hills and Algonquin, and surrounding areas. The District employs approximately 1,400 certified and non-certified staff members.
Huntley 158 is known for its innovative approach to education, sustainability efforts and campus-concept idea. The District is comprised of five elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school, located on three campuses. In addition, the District houses an early childhood center and a special education transition program called LIGHT for students ages 18 to 22.
