How to Register
To be eligible for kindergarten, a child must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026. Note: Students currently enrolled at the district’s Early Childhood Center (ECC) should not register now as they will receive information about registration in April.
The kindergarten registration process will take approximately 15 minutes. We recommend that you use your computer/device rather than a phone for a better user experience. Note: You do not have to complete registration in one sitting; you can save your progress and return at a later time.
At the end of the registration process, you will be prompted to upload required documents (see below). Tip: Scan and save these documents on your device before beginning the registration process so they are easily accessible.
Steps to register:
- Click the registration button below to get started.
- Follow the prompts asking for information.
- Upload the required documents. You will receive a confirmation email afterward stating that your documents are being reviewed.
Confirmation emails will be sent in July to families who have successfully completed registration. Families will be contacted via email if they are missing any required documents.
If you have any questions or issues, please contact the Registration Department at (847) 659-6147 or by email at studentupdate@district158.org. Individuals without access to wifi or a computer can email studentupdate@district158.org to make an appointment to register online at the district office.
