Student Fees

Huntley 158 has maintained the same student fee structure for more than a decade in an effort to keep costs as affordable as possible for families. As a result, our fees have remained significantly lower than those of neighboring school districts.

Due to rising costs and to help sustain quality educational programs and extracurricular opportunities for students, coupled with a decrease in state funding, the District will implement the following changes for the 2026-2027 school year.

  • Student fees will increase for the first time in more than a decade. See below to view 2026-2027 fees. With this adjustment, Huntley 158 student fees will better reflect rising operational costs and more closely align with neighboring school districts.
  • To offset the rising cost of processing credit card payments, we are updating our payment policy effective July 1, 2026. While we will continue to accept credit cards, a service fee will be applied to all credit card transactions to cover the fee charged by credit card companies. Note: Online payments made before July 1, 2026 will not be charged a service fee.
  • The District will continue to accept checks and cash as payment options.

To help support families, monthly installment payment options will be available.
