Huntley 158 Strategic Plan
Where We Are Now
Over the past five years, Huntley Community School District 158's priorities and actions have been guided by its current Strategic Plan, established in 2020. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) measuring the district's progress toward its overarching goals are reported on by the administration and approved by the board annually. To view the district's priority areas and KPIs for the current and previous school years, see below:

Where We're Going
As we continue the work of the district's current strategic plan, we are simultaneously taking steps to launch a new strategic plan that will span the next five years. Our new strategic plan, called Huntley 2030: Building Tomorrow Together, will be rooted in collaboration. We recognize that the insights of our entire Huntley 158 community—families, students, educators, and local stakeholders—are invaluable to creating a comprehensive plan that will set our course over the next five years. As an institution that relies on and serves the community, we must build our strategic plan upon the needs, desires and support from our entire community. Your voices will help shape a plan that reflects our shared commitment to providing every student with the resources, support, and experiences they need to thrive in their world.
Below you will find an overview and timeline that outlines our strategic planning process, as well as links to communications from our superintendent. We invite all stakeholders - parents, staff, students and community members - to follow along in our journey and participate by providing feedback when possible. Your participation is essential as we work together to develop a clear, actionable, and forward-looking roadmap for Huntley 158!

Vision and Voice Community Forums
In February and March, the district will host three community forums called Vision and Voice Sessions, where staff, students, families and community members will be invited to learn about goals and priority areas for the district as defined by the Guiding Team.
There will be a total of three Vision and Voice Sessions, one at each Huntley 158 campus. Meetings will be similar in format so interested individuals can attend the meeting that works best for their schedule, regardless of where they work or where their child may attend school. Meeting dates are below. Times and locations to be determined.
